    These double/triple/quadruple/fiveuple boot issues have been popping up frequently, lately. I agree with the above. Although the MB may be doing a system check as intended, there is no reason for this check to be performed at each startup sequence, is there? This seems like a BIOS problem.
    I'd like to deploy my troops in her country.

    Yes, I am still not convinced that this is supposed to be the way the PC starts every time. I also tried disabling that 'Cooler Retrain' thing to see if that helps, but no success. It's not even 'double boot' but a 'triple boot' in my case :/

    BTW I have a Call of Duty Edition Motherboard, and I am using the BIOS for the regular version. Could this be causing the issue? Because on CoD 4 Edition motherboard product page, I don't see the 0602 version listed (while the other version has the same version and release date). I am assuming that both of these BIOSes are interchangable. Should I roll back to the older BIOS? Which is something I don't think I should be doing as the newer BIOS has updates for 8 core CPUs which I am running.
