I have a pro gaming z170 motherboard currently on BIOS 1206 and when I downloaded the latest BIOS update:

This fails with the error "please update the BIOS first"

Could someone please give guidance on what the most recent SAFE bios update I can use if I'm currently on 1206? I have bricked a motherboarde in the past by upgrading and "jumping" too many iterations.

Which is the most recent I can safely upgrade to?
