ASUS ROG MAXIMUS X HERO s.1151 what kind of M.2 can I Purchase
Hello,
I am currently having the Maximus X hero motherboard and I was wondering if I should purchase the following disk "Samsung 970 EVO 1TB M.2 PCIe MZ-V7E1T0BW" since I am not sure if it will run properly on the motherboard m2 slot (it's full potential).
Looking forward to hearing back any replies.

That's perfectly fine. Install it in the top M.2_1 slot with the provided SSD heatsink to keep the SSD drive running cool as possible with a case that has good airflow. If you leave in the BIOS regarding the M.2_1 option as "Auto" it should run in PCIe x4, which is optimal speed. Or you could choose the PCIe option if you like, but Auto does the same thing. IN other words, just install the SSD as per the above and that's it.
