Reading the manual is a good start.
It all depends on which CPU and RAM you have installed.

*It really depends on your setup(CPU used, ram...)but there are many guides out there, this one is simple to follow, and to the point. The steps are the same ,only differences would be number of cores and frequency limit, depending on cpu used, *but it will give you s good idea

Complex board with a lot of options.
Help can be more focused if you post up what it is you are trying to achieve and what is getting installed from CPU and DRAM to drives and GPU/s

i9 Overclocking Guide by Linus, uses Asus Bios as example. A good start without more info. https://youtu.be/GeITi8DrlTI
*Edit, somehow read this as overclocking guide, my bad. Agree with others, for general setup the manual is the best place to start.*Last edited by virgil990; 12-10-2018 at 12:25 AM.

The OC guide starts on post #4
https://forums.overclockers.com.au/t...hread.1228947/
This is what I used to OC mine. I am running 4.6 GHz on all cores on my 7820X. One thing to note is that setting your OC as outlined in this guide will run your OC at all times. Your OC will not downclock when your system is at idle. The voltages will not reduce either when your system is at idle.

Hi there, I would also like some incite on achieving a good gaming system with my Rampage VI extreme, currently got a temporary windows 10 pro setup to get my bios with all its at best setup then re-install windows onto Intel Optane 280GB PCIe x4
my gear are as follows
Asus Rampage VI Extreme (1704)
4 x 16GB Ram Corsair Dominator Platinum (CMD64GX4M4B3000C15)
Intel i9 9900X 10-Core CPU (3.5Ghz/4.4Ghz Turbo 165Watt - 44 Lane 19.25MB)
Asus Strix RTX2080 O8G Graphics Card
Asus Hyper m.2 x16 Card V1 ( 4 x Samsung 970 Evo 512GB )
Intel Optane 280GB PCIe x4 add in card (SSDPED1D280GASX)
2 x 1TB Samsung 970 Evo Plus
* Noticed no raid options for DIMM.2 or Hyper card, most likely intel VROC does not support the Samsung drives even for RAID0 without VROC Key, so will have to use Windows Software Raid0 for Hyper card and DIMM.2, as would like operating system ( Windows 10 Pro 64bit ) on the Intel Optane 280GB PCIe card , a Raid0 game drives for Hyper card and another for the 2 EVO Plus m.2 on DIMM.2
any clarity on BIOS setup would be grateful thanksCorsair 900D
