Windows October Update on Asus Edition 10 & 5930K

Just got a 970 PRO drive so I am going to be doing a fresh install of Windows 10. Should I allow it to install it with the October Update or no. I saw a thread about the update not allowing overclocks on Broadwell-E does that include Haswell-E as well?

Thanks

I'm on the latest Win 10 update (Build 17763.168) and my 5930k overclock is working fine.

Thanks for the reply I just got home from work and checked Windows Update as I have been doing since getting my 2080ti and Update is 1809 is finally available. I'm cautiously optimistic but hope everything goes well. I'm gonna let it update and check it out and then do a clean install once my 970 Pro arrives.

The 5930K is a Haswell-E Processor. Broadwell-E are 6xxx series of CPUS. *
