PCI-E bifurcation on Asus X399 STRIX ? With Asus Hyper M.2

Hello,

I've been searching the internet without finding information.

I try to know if the Asus STRIX X399 supports PCI-E bifurcation.
This allows the x16 PCI-E port to be splitted from 1*16x into 4*4x ports : so x16 to 4x4x4x4x.
This would allow the use of the Asus Hyper M.2.

This cheap cards is really interesting for people relying on really fast storage.
I could buy 4 512GB Samsung drives (100€ each), and use them in raid0.

This is very interesting for example, when editing 4K RAW (250MB/sec for one file).

Thanks 🙂

I would be very surprised if the Strix does not allow this, I know the Prime does and Zenith also.

The 16x slots can be 4x + 4x + 4X + 4x.

The 8x slots can be 4x + 4x.

Thanks you !
Well, I don't have the "x4 Mode" for any of the PCIE port !

Edit : Well, I just saw that it's PCIE-RAID mode that has to be selected !
It's clearly explained but I didn't saw it ! Damn !

Perfect ! Good news !
