Help adding a third NVMe Drive to a z390 CODE
Hello, I initially planned to buy a 2TB NVMe drives and a 1TB one for Black Friday. However, the 2TB one didn’t go on sale so I went for three 1TB ones. There are only two M.2 slots on the Maximus XI CODE so I bought a generic NVMe PCIe expansion card. Where and how should I install it so as not to impact the performance of my GPU (RTX 2080)? I don’t mind mind the third drive running a bit slowly (even at x1) but I’d like the other two to run at x4 and the GPU to run at full speed. (x16 if possible) Thanks a lot and have a nice day!

In a nutshell, where should I put the expansion card so as to tap into the Chipset lanes instead of the CPU ones?
