Question Zenith Extreme + 2950x + GSKILL RGB RAM

    hi,

would be really cool if somebody could help - want to build new system with
Zenith Extreme Board + GSKILL Ram + CPU 2950x

first wanted to buy 64 gb and later if needed another 64 gb but seems i have to go for 128 as its only available as 128gb kit

from asus QVL i just find this 3 RAM kits but without RGB
    https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/m...459.1542697855

    G.SKILL F4-3000C14Q2-128GVK(XMP) 128GB ( 8x 16GB ) DS - - 14-14-14-34 1.35 ● ●
    G.SKILL F4-3000C14Q2-128GVRD 128GB ( 8x 16GB ) DS 14-14-14-34 1.35 ● ●
    G.SKILL F4-3000C14Q2-128GVKD 128GB ( 8x 16GB ) DS 14-14-14-34 1.35 ●

then i found GSKILL RAM configurator
    https://gskill.com/en/configurator?m...073&model=3432

[Trident Z RGB (For AMD)] F4-2933C14Q2-128GTZRX
[Trident Z RGB (For AMD)] F4-2933C16Q2-128GTZRX

can somebody advise what to choose please - i have not much knowledge about hardware, just after many years on i720 i ned an urgent upgrade...
want to use it for "GPU rendering" and "UNREAL", "HOUDINI", "BLENDER"...

thats what i want to put together:
    Cosmos C700M Big Tower
    Asus ROG Zenith Extreme
    AMD Ryzen Threadripper 2950X
    2x MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Sea Hawk X, 11264 MB GDDR6 - NVLINK
    Samsung MZ-V7P512BW 970 PRO
    Corsair AX1600i digitales PC-Netzteil
    Nzxt Kraken Wasserkühlung X62, 280mm

    thanks in advance

If I were you, I'd wait a bit and see what the Ryzen 3000 series will bring.
The channel AdoreTV on Youtube (https://www.youtube.com/user/adoredtv/videos) have previously had good leaks (IE relating to RTX) and some of the things about the upcoming generation is bound to be true (I doubt all of them are, but one can wish)

I don't know if there will be any new chipset for Threadripper 3000 series (there was not any for 2000 series), but if there is it would be wise to jump on that one unless you go for first or 2:nd generation CPU.

Personally I'd go for the C14 memory, unless there is a big difference in cost.
I can recommend the following thread, LOADS of information: https://www.overclock.net/forum/11-a...g-support.html

Do note that the X62 cooling is ASETEK based and will not cover the entire CPU, at stock speed it could be OK but not for any OC.

thanks, i'll take a look at your link

i watched quite a lot videos and tests about x62 and other parts but thanks for any hint
i am not interested in OC just want a stabile and sure fast system
i first will go for 1 MSI GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Sea Hawk X
and maybe later for 2nd and third
atm i am changing my hole workflow renderer... so i cant say for sure what will be best, also unreal rtx support will just come next months...
i hope with this system i am quite flexible for some choices
i also have to check if its possible to mount all the radiators
if 1600W is enough i even consider 4x2080ti if needed
