Just so you know, the microcode for the 8700k/8086k has not changed in this BIOS. At least for the Code X, it is still 96h.
So I don't know if there is anything new in the BIOS for these processors.

Where are you determining your microcode from?

Interesting so the only CPUID touched recently was 906ED and some speculate that is comet lake from what little I can scrub together. That is compatible with z370?

On the new 1901 BIOS for the Formula X, the diagnostic LED (red one) will refuse to show a constant live temperature anymore (set to auto in the BIOS). It will go through the boot codes ok then get stuck on a single temperature number and never move from that. 1801 and every BIOS previously this worked just fine.

No matter what I try the temp gets stuck to a single number, the oled screen is displaying CPU temps ok though.

I have reverted back to 1801 and the temp readout is working perfectly again. Can this be looked into?

It's the only issue I have and other than that everything else is working ok.

That's weird - just updated to 2003 and still got an me version that's vulnerable according to the intel csme version detector it's still 11.8.60.3561. The official intel sa states that the fixed version are supposedly 11.8.65. Otherwise the bios seems to do just as good as the last version.

Would be nice to have some clarification there. Damn I am glad when I can hopefully just move away from intel for a while in july.

    I am wondering that too.
All ROG Maximus boards have been updated with new Bios except the ROG Maximus X Code and the ROG Maximus X Formula.
I guess they updated the Bios first for the more popular boards first.
I am currently waiting to flash the new bios (when it's released) before i install Windows 10 1903.

Can we have any confirmation from an Asus Admin that the new Bios is going to be released for the above mobos that i mentioned?
