    This updates messed up my overclocking, i was stable with 1.36v before updates and after it i need 1.39v for stability with LLC 6. If i stay on 1.36 i have a lot of BSOD in tests and playing.
    Its a noobie asking but it is normal with an new update the overclock settings fails ?

    Anybody had this problem ? And do you think the new 2102 will sove my problem and i will back with 1.36v ?

    Thx a lot and kindly regards from France
    Maybe 2003 changed the LLC vdroop. Check the real CPU voltage with a multimeter.

    Did something change with the Adaptive ofset voltage? I put my setup to best case scenario, i added adaptive mode and put it to 1.19, with turbo to 1.20 and my cpu still goes 1.45v on 4.9ghz. Did i do it right? I came from the stock first bios, and updated to 2102, and tried to go back to 2003. I can only keep my cpu voltage from rising if i put it to manual. Maximus X Hero and 8700k

    svid = on
    svid = best case

    cpu power duration all maxed

    total adaptive volts = ( what you want )

    in adaptive mode i have tested this is this

    when a game or app uses "avx instructions" in adaptive mode you can see ( up to ) 0.040 v "spikes"

    1.20 v + 0.040 v = 1.24v spikes when not setting a avx offset in the bios in adpative mode .

    if you use a - 1 avx offset in adaptive mode you will get " up to " 0.016 v spikes vs 0.040 v with out a - 1 avx .

    test it your self its been thsi way since launch .
    but your case of 1.19 v spiking to 1.45 v you have some settings turned off dubble check or reset bios start fresh if you ned help setting adaptive mode up pm me i went threw many pots of coffee figuring it all out

    if i have the same bios as you i can send my .cmo file and you can load the bios settings no probs it is when its a new version we cant . unless somthing has changed in the last 8 months
    You know you can save the bios settings as a txt file instead of taking screen shots? I used to snap screen shots myself was such a PIA. Another guy on here told me about the txt file. In BIOS goto Tool. Load/Save profile From/To USB Drive (have to have a USB plugged in first). Then ctrl+F2 to save settings. This creates a txt file on the USB instead of a .cmo LIFE saver when upgrading the BIOS.

    hey there , i have tried that 5 bios ago , I did save as a .txt file on the usb , I then flashed the bios went to load the .txt and did not work for me .
    i then gave up since it did not work and just used cell phone pics . can you confirm this works ? one bios to a new bios version ( not the same )

    The txt file can't be loaded or anything, I just find it more useful than screen shots as you can easily compare 2 different bios settings with something like note pad ++.
