well yes but is this going to be fixed or do we have to sit on the bad / broken software and use MSI software instead?

I mean why staying with Asus then?

May be configuration and game specific. I'm not experiencing crashing. Monitoring works fine. I suspect some games are sensitive to the OSD. I also fresh install Win 10 periodically with fresh drivers which seems to help with program issues. That said, GPU Tweak still needs some work.

To answer chris69. I go with Asus Strix as the hardware is very good. Software bells and whistles are an after thought.

Got a brand new PC (latest Win 10 pro) here and using the OSD will crash most, but not all applications. As far as I tested I can confirm that Microsoft Outlook, Adobe Photoshop and Guild Wars 2 will not run if OSD is on. Also had to change the key bindings as ctrl + alt + i, which I used in Photoshop, was automatically bound to toggle OSD on/off, effectively killing half of all running programs

For what it's worth... I cannot duplicate any crashed on Microsoft Outlook, PUBG, Fortnite, BFV, BF1, or any other app. I do not activate OSD for Photoshop due to overlapping hot keys. I run 1.8.9.0. Maybe it is a better version.

New update, Version 1.9.4.4 - 2019/01/16 Everything fixed and running fine now
Edit: Must take it back, after installation it was fine, now monitor always stops after 1 sec again.

+1 here for some random program weirdness when running GPU Tweak 2 (latest version). I don't have any game crashes, but movie file playback crashes in both Plex and VLC. Plex menus work fine, but the movie picture will freeze after a few seconds, audio keeps going. Have to ctrl-alt-delete and end task. In VLC the movie will playback but the app UI freezes up (can't play, pause, change subtitle, go fullscreen, etc.). Uninstall GPU Tweak 2 and it all works perfectly again? Dunno
