At 4000 MHz it seems to be stable, passing all MemTest86 stress tests.

As said earlier...forget trying XMP and try setting up manually....if that doesnt work settle for 4000 Mhz.....

Tried manual using all recommendations from the thread. None worked.
Went back to XMP and 4000 Mhz.
Interesting that XMP1 performs better than XMP2 profile based on PassMark and UserBenchmark scores.
May be future version of BIOS will improve compatibility with this RAM.
Not really sure what else to try except just accept perfectly performing and stable 4000 Mhz.

Yup. Same here. Rock solid at 4000. I'm ok with that

I have the same board and processor but 4 x G.Skill DDR4-4133 CAS 17 and it works with the XMP profile without problems. Then I put out 2 of them for testing and the system does not boot like yours.

I have the z390-Strix with Team Group Xtreem-DDR4-Kit 8Pack-Edition 4133, CL18 and also can only run it at 4000 MHz. Tried setting everything manually but no luck.
Really disappointed so far. You spent so much money on a proper RAM and then the board can't even run it with full speed...

If the memory is not on the QVL then you take your chances with incompatibility issues.....When a certain memory frequency is deemed to run at a rated speed prior to being posted as QVL....one has to remember that testing has been done with more than 1 processor and as we all know...every processor reacts different with memory due to the strength/weakness of the IMC....so...to blame the board for not being able to run memory at a rated speed is incorrect...IMHO....trying 3 different processors...for example.
.... may yield 3 different results on same board with regards to memory @ rated speed...2 may struggle and the 3rd may just be fine.....it's like a lottery...some you win..some you lose.
