The OP asked a few questions about updating the bios on his motherboard, no reason for controversy or negative remarks, disrespectful comments, please keep it clean and respect one another

    Hi Guys,
Thank you all for your opinions .
    All are appreciated.
    All are taken onboard.
I was going to update the BIOS because I read this
    "Updated CPU Microcode.
Secure erase now supports NVME devices.
    Fixed USB device issue.
    Improved system performance and stability."

Seemed to me I would be improving the performance
of my pc by doing this,I also thought I might be missing out
on something by not updating the Microcode?
I will continue reading your comments posted
    Thank You.

From ROG MAXIMUS X HERO BIOS 1602 (date 2018/07/10)
    To
ROG MAXIMUS X HERO BIOS 1801 (date 2018/12/21)
Can I run the BIOS upgrade utility in the BIOS and upgrade the latest
Version off my USB drive ?
Or is it more complicated than that ?
Should I reset the current BIOS back to Factory Default settings ?
Should I upgrade to BIOS version 1704 (2018/10/02)
    Then to BIOS 1801 (date 2018/12/21) ?
Or can I skip this 1704 version ?
I am making an assumption that this is the correct BIOS to download

As I know there are 2 versions of this motherboard one with Wi-Fi and the other without wifi.
One BIOS does both motherboards ?
    Thanks for your help Guys.........
Got this still Brand New in the box and has 1155 on it Not the 1150 as like it should of been made with. Help Plz
