Aero Lights on AAS for Zephyrus M

It might have been answered in another thread already. If you could point me to it I would be very thankful. I tried to go the Asus Web Chat route - well, it was not very helpful.

It's not really a problem, but I just want to know - when the laptop is plugged in, the Aero Lights on the AAS is on but when I unplug it from the power adapter, it turns off. I have tried to look everywhere on how to keep it on even if I am just on battery. Any help or hint would be highly appreciated.
