Unfortunately there isnt much to be done other than use a battery saver profile and dim the display which still wont amount to a hill of beans. These machines were not made for a long battery run time. performance and long battery run time dont belong in the same sentence.

You cannot run the machine without a battery.

SSD and RAM can be upgraded but thats not going to change the battery performance. Im actually surprised to see an SSD that small, I dont even think windows will install on that. US models come with minimum 256GB which IMO still isnt enough.

Perhaps if this doesnt suit your needs its better to not spend more money on it and start considering a machine that is more conducive to your needs with long battery life......ROG isnt it. For my long battery needs I use a MS surface pro that even the I7 CPU gets me 8 hours. There are others but thing is high performance laptops just have poor battery run time no matter who makes them. If you get 2 hours on battery saving mode thats about as good as its going to get
