Lose Internet Access with Wired Devices

I have a switch that is connected to a few devices via wired connection.

At times, the devices connected to the switch would stop having access to the internet. However, the 3 devices that is connected to the router directly with a wire directly still works.

The fix for me was to reset the routers and the devices connected to the switch works. I tried using ipconfig /renew and it does not work.

What is the fix for this?

Firmware is up to date.

I don't think the radio has anything to do with it as issue is only on devices connected via wire.

You topic says one thing, your post says another.

Are you running a switch downstream of the router? Im misunderstanding the post. If yes then the issue is in your switch. Could be over heating. I dont think its the router or changing ports. If its a budget switch thats even more likely.

If you could post more specifics as to what router and what switch.

If you have QoS enabled, turn it off. that will make everything connected to that router port screw the pooch.

So I have changed the switch and also the cable and that did not fix the issue.

I was able to get a log when the issue comes out. See below.

So pretty much it is a router issue.

I noticed that when I replace the network cable that is going from the switch to the router. Fixed the problem temporarily.

Tried it a few times. Seems like whenever I switch cables, it would be fixed. However, I have to keep replacing cables.

What's the logic behind this?
