I asked this question before and PM'd Raja about whether Windows 7 can be installed on this board. Right now I'm on a R6A dual booting 7 and 10. Raja's answer was "I don't know I've never tried to". I have a usb drive with Windows 7 on it that I made using the ASUS EZ-Installer. I can't see why it would not install on an Omega. I know I'd have to find drivers for it but I might be able to use the drivers on the APEX disc as it's still an X299 chipset. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hello
I think I will buy this board with a 7900x CPU. Can someone please recommend decent 3200+ 64GB kit memory? Thank you.

So RMAd a regular Extreme into a board with a bad BIOS chip and wanted to pull the CMOS battery to reset it as a test. Then I realized one of the reason I liked the Omega layout despite my issues with it.
When a Rampage VII or VIII releases I will be far more inclined to buy if it's layed out like the Omega over the regular Extreme.
