B450-F-Gaming CPU Temp sensor

Hey at all!

First of all sry for my bad english im from germany  .

I try to describe my problem.

Ive bought a mainboard and cpu and so on.

After i build the system i push power on and go to the uefi and the cpu temp sensor shows me -24
Degrees celsius! Hmm i think i do a bios uefi update.
One moment later the temp is even -24 degrees.

So fan control isnt possible with this temp. I started windows 10 install the latest AI-Suite
And drivers. Okay after restart the same temp.
After that i install HWinfo and core temp and Ryzenmaster!
In every program is the cpu temp normal 36-60 degrees celsius.

So what happened? Are the sensor on the mainboard broken?
Or is it a software problem?

I hope anybody can help me.

Thanks a lot.

This has been brought up before for Ryzen systems and I was under the impression that it was resolved with a BIOS update. Did you update to the most recent BIOS? It's possible the sensor is defective but I'd start with firmware/software updates.
I'd like to deploy my troops in her country.

I also have an Asus ROG Strix B450-F Gaming.
I run a Ryzen 5 2600 (which I can OC to 4 GHZ) with G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32000 RAM @ 3400 MHz.
I use an Arctic Freezer 33 Esports Edition tower cooler and my CPU idles at around 29-32C.
My Motherboard and PCH temperatures are ~40-41C @ idle.
