Weird W_PUMP+ readings after BIOS update 1801

Hi,
I update the board to the latests bios and found that the water pump is giving random and weird readings, ranging between 10000 to 60000 rpms!
The values are not correlated with real speed as they are jumping between values.
I know by the manual curve that it shuld be aproximately between 1500 to 1800rpm, and i had recorded 9317 to 41616.
Had no issue with 1602 bios.

Any clue or fix?

Thanks

And what sort of readings do you get in hardware monitor or HW info? The same skewed readings?

Yep. I get that readings from BIOS and from HWINFO 64 v6.00-3620

The curious thing is that after some weeks i started HWinfo right now, and is giving right readings: min-max / 1337-1347rpm, wich are fine as i had a low rpm curve on the low end of temps.

I will digg a bit more if in some boots it works right nad other they fail.

Thanks for your interest

Another great resource is the thread that the hw info creator has over on overclock.net. I have gotten pretty instant feedback on other issues like this in the past. He may be able to shed some light on this for you.

Hi,
Interesting I've tried quite a few bios searching for the best
1301 is best but none had any issues with hwinfo and rpm readings with pwm D5 pumps 😕
