PG27VQ smudge/blur

Hello
Just got my PG27VQ monitor and have a question,
On white/gray backround the image looks terrible, like there is some smudge or something on the hole screen.
It is present all the time but very visible on grey/white.
Is it supposed to look like this, or is there something wrong?
Never seen this on a monitor before.
Attaching a youtube-link that shows my problem.

Not easy to get it on video, but it looks like there is something "in front" off the picture on the monitor,
if someone understand

The video did not come out as intended,
attaching a image of the same background on 2 different monitors, the right one is the pg27vq, all the different colors are clearly visible,
and nothing on the left one.

I would assume you're talking about the matte anti-glare coating having that effect?

Have the same model as you - coming from a VG236HE which had a very glossy screen (IIRC it was called ColorShine coating?), it took some time getting used to it as the difference was very jarring on white and gray screens.

It's probably removable like people have done with other displays but that means disassembling it, voiding your warranty and risk damaging the monitor.

yeah, i'm thinking it's the agressive anti glare.
just find it strange that it's supposed to loke like this,
horrible to look at webpages with white/gray backgrounds.
