Maximus IX code - frontpanel mic/audio software?

    Hello everyone

So the other day we finished building my dream PC all is good except one thing. The fronpanel Mic/audio does not work. I can see in supreme FX that when i plug the my headset on it does not register it. I was wondering is a software to active the frontpanel mic/headset? The USB, restart and start bottons work. am i missing something?

    Thanks in advanced

    Hi NicegirI13

Have you connected the HD audio cable from your case to the AAFP header on the motherboard ?

For testing, does your headset work with the motherboard audio jacks ?

    Ok thank you

In the bios - Advanced tab - Onboard Device Configuration - Make sure HD audio is enabled.

Right click on the speaker on the bottom right of your screen and select playback devices and set "speakers" as the default device, this has my case jacks on the front working.

One last thing, try turning on device routing, it looks like you have something connected to the back jack with the green one lit up. Or disconnect whatever you have connected at the back and see if this gets the front jacks working.
