    AURA crashes on startup

    1. The BIOS/firmware version for your hardware.
    -- 0702

    2. The AURA SYNC products you own and any other 3rd-party lighting software.
    -- Prime Z390-A
-- No other lighting software installed

    3. If a power cycle has made any difference. (Shutdown, power off, unplug power cable for a minute)
    -- No effect

    4. If you have tried reinstalling Aura or Windows already.
    -- Yes

    5. Do you have Aura for Graphics Cards installed also. (Please uninstall)
    -- No

    6. Windows Edition, Version, and OS build.
    -- Windows 10 Pro (64 bit), Version 1809, Build 17763.253

    7. If the same issue was present in the previous version(s).
    -- No

    8. State clearly the issue(s) you are experiencing.
-- When starting AURA, immediately receive an "ASUS AURA Stopped Working" error message. Program will not launch. All lights are stuck in rainbow mode.
    -- Things I have tried:
---- Uninstalled AURA, ran AURACleaner, Re-installed latest version of AURA
    ---- Refreshed Windows
---- Uninstalled AURA, ran AURACleaner, installed previous build of AURA (1.07.22)
    ---- Disabling Fast Startup
---- Turned AURA off and back on within BIOS
---- Reinstalled various drivers (e.g. chipset)
---- Uninstalled all ASUS software, reinstalled AURA and ran it alone
---- Updated BIOS to latest version
---- Reseated RGB connectors on motherboard
---- Power cycled unit (drained flea power as well)

EDIT: For whatever reason, unplugging my XP-Pen drawing tablet allowed AURA to launch again. No clue why my drawing tablet had an effect on the launching of ASUS AURA as it has no lighting, but that's what solved my problem. The model I have is the XP-Pen Artist 22.

Cooler Master MasterLiquid ML360R RGB is not detected by AURA. Patriot DIMM 16 GB DDR4-3200 Kit is detected by AURA, but not anymore in MasterPlus. I have pressed the refresh button. My Problem is that i can´t change the RGB whit aura sync on my AIO ML360R RGB or whit a other software. I updatet the Firmware and software from all my Products...I have already tried everything. Can it possibly be due to the controller of the water cooling? Can not omit the controller and close directly to the motherboard or somehow have something special to follow when connecting? I did everything according to instructions. I hope so far right. The latest MasterPlus software does not recognize the RGB controller, hence the older version. Without MasterPlus I could not control my water cooling, so I installed it. I would like to delete these synonymous if everything would go on aura sync. Please Help

(read solution below - should work for everybody)

    1. Download the G.Skill RGB Software: http://www.gskill.com/gskill-device/...B_v1.06.68.zip (yes, even if you don't have G.Skill RGB Ram)
    2. Install it, but don't run it.
    3. Restart your computer.
    4. When you log back in, download & install SoftwareRemoveMaster: http://fs2.download82.com/software/b...moveMaster.exe (click here for virustotal scan)
    5. Once started, find AURA in the list of installed software:

    6. Then continue to uninstall it, like so:

    7. Big chance you'll get the Catastrophic error once again, but just click OK to close it.
SoftwareRemoveMaster will then ask you to remove any remaining registry entries that are linked to the app-id we just tried to uninstall.
    8. Go ahed and check the suggestions and accept if everything looks right.
    9. Restart computer again.
    10. Install AURA & Reboot again.
    11. ???
    12. Profit.

Sync at Shutdown will not stay as set in Aura when computer is turned off and turned back on. If I turn computer off with Sync at Shutdown turned to off the leds stay off until the next time I turn the computer on. Then the leds for both strips and motherboard return to rainbow next time the computer is powered off and powered back on or restrarted. I then re open Aura and find Sync at Shutdown is set on rainbow. Not where I had set it at OFF. SO BASICALLY I GET ONE SHUTDOWN WHERE THE LEDS STAY OFF. UPON TURN ON AURA RESETS THE LED SYNC AT SHUTDOWN TO RAINBOW.

[UPDATE] I think the issue might be the saturation slider not being able to go low enough. In the previous version, the slider (at it lowest point) would show the colour white at the far left, now it's showing a faint grey, meaning it's not desaturated enough. The GPU will also display a slight pink hue with the lowest saturation with all colours.

The BIOS/firmware version for your hardware.
Asus Maximus VII Formula BIOS version 3003

    2. The AURA SYNC products you own and any other 3rd-party lighting software.
Asus GTX 1060 Strix O6G 6GB. No third party software, just Aura.

    No difference.

    4. If you have tried reinstalling Aura or Windows already.
Aura yes - multiple times. Windows no as I don't have a backup source for my data.

    5. Do you have Aura for Graphics Cards installed also. (Please uninstall)
    No.

    6. Windows Edition, Version, and OS build.
    Windows 10 Pro 64-bit. Version 1803, build 17134.472

    7. If the same issue was present in the previous version(s).
Not present in Aura version 1.07.22 - Can't verify as can't download previous version.

    8. State clearly the issue(s) you are experiencing.
My 1060 Strix 6GB was hitting the high 90s recently so I replaced the thermal paste (which fixed that) - I know any warranty is probably gone now. While reassembling the card, the wires on the LED plate that connect it to the main PCB on the right hand side of the card came loose. I have re-soldered them back on but the card no longer shows colour correctly, instead it shows a pale pink hue in place of any colour selected when the saturation is set to the lowest point. It correctly displayed colours before the repair. I don't know if the pink is a result of the repair or a minor software issue as when I reinstalled the card I installed the latest version of Asus Aura (which had been updated so couldn't download previous version to test).

The previous version of Aura Sync which I have not encountered a problem but only laggish sometimes, but now after I installed the latest bios (v 1601) and updated the latest version of aura sync (1.07.35) my KEYBOARD, MOUSE, DRAM, AND ADD STRIP works fine but the problem is my MOTHERBOARD on aura sync does not show up. My mobo's RGB doesn't even lights up or glow what I mean there's no lights at all. I also tried to reinstall aura sync I don't get even a chance. Next, I tried to go on my bios which my ERP Ready where "Disabled" and to RGB Led Lighting which is also "ON" mode. I think the new version of bios and aura sync affects my motherboard's rgb because before I installed the latest version, everything seems perfectly working even my mobo's rgb. Please respond. Thank you!
