Hi.

Can I use basic version XI Hero Wifi bios with this Black Ops version.



Asus has not updated Black Ops bios they website:

Yes and No. Yes because I did this on mine as they are the same board (Except for on-board RGB) and it worked perfectly fine. No because you should never flash something thats not meant for your specific board even if there is only minor differences. I had to do it unfortunately because I was trying to fix an issue (the USB ports on my board were not providing enough power to my wireless mouse, it was lagging and stuff unless placed super close to the CPU) and I checked if new bios fixed anything it didn't so I had to return my board.

There is updated bios for your motherboard - under Driver & Tools choose Your OS, Windows 10 64 bit for example and look under BIOS section. Seems like it wasn't at BIOS & FIRMWARE tab yesterday, now there is newest version too.

Yes, those are identical board, but I think maybe something difference bios?, because Black ops version have orange light by default. Good to know that works too.

Damn, again there is no 0805 version Black ops bios.
