DRAM: Corsair Vengeance 3000MHz 64 Gt
Hi,
I have really troubleshoot x299 MoBo and corsair vengeance and XMP.
Without XMP the memory runs 2133, however with XMP basically I am unable to run it faster, not even 2400MHz
The CPU should be able to run 2666MHz according the spec.

What to do to get memory speed higher ?
Should I also be able to run memory 2666M or even higher with XMO settings ?

Thanks!

Even with XMP turned on, you may have to raise the voltage of the DRAM in BIOS. If it was set to 1.25, you may have to boot both channels to 1.35v or whatever is the norm for your sticks. You may also have to go into DIMM Timings and change the mode from Auto to 2 to loosen the setting some.
