    Looklike AVX512 feature on Skylake X SKUs and Cascadelake X SKUs was only item that can beat AMD monster cores CPU.

    32 x 512-bit wide register per core shining too strong . AMD 3rd Gen (C)2019 microarchitect can't beating.

    Imagine Icelake SP LGA 4189 with 4 x FMA512 port that will twice faster than Skylake X SKUs. Leaving AMD smell dust to 2025.

    @Mreksoll

    Which memory modules are u using on Omega??? I understand your capacity right now is 128GB. EDIT: Saw your other post and u have Kingston 128GB, with a pair of XMP's, one at 2400 and the other at 2666.

    Omega can be a bit tricky and likes manual memory setup touching a lot of subtimings. XMP is not working properly in several boards and brands, not only on the Omega.

    The board uses T-Topology so 8 sticks should oc better than 4 sticks. Some folks at OC.NET say single sided 3600C16 non rgb sticks are one of the best suits for the Omega (2kits for a total of 64GB).

    I use the Gskill's 3600C15 (32GB total) and achieved 3800C15 and 4000C16 GSAT/HCI stable. 3800C15 is specially agile and stable reboot after reboot, even with different sets of RTL's and IOL's cos of autotraining. U can't force RTL's and IOL's (Omega won't boot) but u can fix RTL Init to help training and stability. U should disable MemOK in the board switch for manual OC.

    If u don't see the images properly, download them to your pc.

    I meant that there are new microcodes in the works to address overclocking. Didn’t realize that was old news. Didn’t think it was the same as the security advisory. Haven’t seen anything from Asus on this.*

    From the article:

    *the new microcode also helps to "maximize the overall performance" of "Cascade Lake-X" processors," says MSI. The company does not describe what specifically these changes are. The microcode update will be released to end-users as BIOS updates by motherboard manufacturers, so be on the lookout for one, if you're using "Cascade Lake-X."

    ์Not at all Cascadelake X suffered from Intel TAA to its recently microcode 0500002b DATE 2019-09-05 may performance hit around 0-4% .
    Let's trying by yourself. I think MSI misunderstood about this microcode revision. It was not gain but loss on performance.

    @tistou77 or any other mate using MC 49 in their Rampage Bios, have u tested avx512 loads (y-cruncher for example) along with your OC's with this microcode???

    EDIT: I answer myself, MC49 is totally AVX512 bugged.
