Bios 1902 already has 5E microcode, just the modules are updated

A little click on the "thanks" button (small star) is always a pleasure

The firmware AQC107 and ASMedia are to be updated under Windows

When you get a chance can you upgrade the new 1902 BIOS for the Apex board with the latest modules.

@tistou77 Could we get a modded BIOS 0702 for the Omega? If you need more specifics, the TJ Max is still showing 110C and temperatures are higher. Your last modded BIOS I downloaded in the OP solved that issue for an older BIOS.

I have R6E board with latest BIOS update, 9980XE CPU, also I have recently bought the Following

Asus Hyper M.2 X16 PCIe 3.0 X4 Expansion Card V2
Intel VROC STD CPU HW RAID KEY 0/1/10 (VROCSTANMOD)
4x Samsung 970 EVO Plus - 1TB PCIe NVMe
2x Samsung 950 Pro - 512GB PCIe NVMe


The Problem I have that I can't Build a raid-0 Volumes in BIOS, in both DIMM2 and Hyper m.2 card v2

Things I tried:
in BIOS tried to let it take control from CPU and from PCH, both failed
also tried to make make VROC hyper m.2 and DATA hyper m.2 and last tried PCIE 4X and made it DIMM2.

what Shall I do ? anyone have this new CARD Hyper m.2 V2 ??

I'll make this short because this topic has been talked to death. If you are trying to make a BOOTABLE RAID 0 array you will NOT be able to do it with your current setup UNLESS you have a XEON processor. Simply put BOOTABLE VROC is not capable on x299 boards unless you are using INTEL drives. Intel locked out all other manufacturer drives from the VROC Boot drive process unless your drive is made from Intel. If you already have a boot drive and just want a RAID 0 storage drive, then in the BIOS turn the 4 slots for the Hyper 16 into DATA Only NON_VROC drives. From there you can use windows 10 Diskmanagement or IRST to create a SOFTWARE RAID 0 storage drive which will be about 20% faster than VROC ever can be. No key necessary.

I was one of the first to get Vroc Boot drives working using two Intel 900P drives and in the end, it wasn't worth it because the latency as just too great. Instead I bought a third, run windows off it and use them in a Raid0 storage drive using the software RAID support by windows 10. Yeah Intel was very laxed, lazy and sneaky with the promotion and white papers for this VROC stuff, but technically it is finally in there about needing Intel m.2s or a XEON processor.

Thank you Tissou!! You are a rockstar. I'll give it out and check my temps against the 170x version and maybe it will fix Aura Sync but I tink tht is too...er...hopeful.
