1. Even it used STIM all SKUs Personally , I think I’ll be hotter than 7900X.
2. General tasks about 3-5% at same clock speed, DL tasks about 3X compare to 7900X via 2 VNNI unit on port 0 and 1 .
3. If you’re working on AI or DL project yes! If not just waiting for next platform way better, LGA 2066 EOL on Q2 2020.
LGA 4189 will replace LGA3647 and 2066 for Whitley platform on Q3 2020. If you love 8-CH DDR4 3200MT/s
PCIe 4.0 x 16 just waiting a little bit. Icelake SP SKUs featuring Sunny Cove Microarchitect way better than Skylake X a lot.*
# Update # Icelake SP LGA 4189 coming with Sunny Cove Microarchitect featuring Mesh interconnect 2.0
running @ 3.2GHz native ( Skylake SP/X/W/D 2.4GHz Gen 1 ) 1.25 MB L2 cache and 1.5MB L3 cache per core.
support Upto 26 Core per socket . AVX512 all suite except VP2intersect. PCIe 4.0 x 16.
If it not satisfied for your rigs just waiting for Eagle stream platform on 2022. With LGA4677 7+nm EUV sapphire rapids
& granite rapids here.* It will coming with DDR5 6400MT/s 8CH and New PCIe 5.0 x 16 support.

Dear tistou77! Please update the new 2002 BIOS for the WS X299 SAGE board with the latest modules end microcode 60.
Do you have the option to use VROC 6.2.0.1239?
Thanks.Last edited by Romttan; 10-29-2019 at 04:52 AM.

Hi guys. I have a Rampage VI Apex motherboard. Firmware version 2002. I have problems with the XMP profile for memory and get a double start on system startup.
My configuration:
CPU: Core i7-9800X
MB: Asus Rampage VI Apex (Bios 2002)
DDR: DDR 4 G.SKILL TRIDENT Z RGB 32GB (4x8GB kit) F4-3466C16Q-32GTZR 3466MHz CL16 1.35V
Video: ASUS TURBO-RTX2080-8G-EVO
SSD: INTEL SSDPEKKW25 256 GB + KINGSTON SHFS37A240G 240 GB
HDD: WDC WD10EZEX-00ZF5A0 1TB
Power Supply: Corsair RM850X
Drive: ASUS BW-12B1ST
If i set the default settings then everything is fine. And if i manually set the memory frequency to 3200 MHz, too, everything is fine, there is no double start. But I wanted to use memory at 3466 MHz because it is present in the list of QVL, and it means that it was tested with the motherboard Apex. It's just not very nice to watch it. Firmware 2002 did not fix this problem. Maybe someone will tell me plaese how to get rid of double start?) Sorry for my English. Thank you in advance)
