mCode 65
tistou77,
I saw you updated your modded BIOS 2002 Intel VMD VROC new module v6.2.0.1034 + the IRST updates v17.7.0.4404, which is great!
BUT I also saw that you updated to mCode 65 - that micro code package has been reported to be an internal Intel test version that makes your system refuse to boot (see forum over at: https://www.win-raid.com/t3355f47-In...ussion-20.html)
Can you please role back the 2002 to mCode 64. All the other BIOS updates are fine.
Thank you for all your work helping us out!Last edited by Int8bldr; 11-06-2019 at 05:08 PM.

Microcode 02000049 was release before Microarchitect Data Sampling Vulnerable (MDS) disclosed
There are 4 vulnerables issue according to Intel provided us.
More info :: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us...ology/mds.html
1. Microarchitectural Load Port Data Sampling (MLPDS) - CVE-2018-12127
2. Microarchitectural Store Buffer Data Sampling (MSBDS) - CVE-2018-12126
3. Microarchitectural Fill Buffer Data Sampling (MFBDS) - CVE-2018-12130
4. Microarchitectural Data Sampling Uncacheable Sampling (MDSUM) - CVE-2019-11091
So if you deploying 02000049 microcode or older version. You system may risk from 4 MDS vulnerables above.
Microcode 02000064 2019-07-31 was releasing to mitigation from Intel TAA Vulnerable here.
Transactional Asynchronous Abort (TAA)(CVE-2019-11135) is a speculative execution side channel issue related to
Intel® Transactional Synchronization Extensions (Intel® TSX). TAA affects the same microarchitectural structures as
microarchitectural data sampling (MDS). Intel continues to work with industry partners to develop and disclose
information and mitigations for TAA.
If you use older microcode than 02000064 version your system may risk from Intel TAA Vulnerable above.Windows 11 22H2 Build 25120.1010 Core i9 7980XE 02006D05 MCU 2021-11-13 R6E 3601 MODDED BIOS TPM 2.0 Enabled VROC 7.7.0.1054 + RST 18.31.3.5434 ME FW 11.12.92.2222 DV 2204.2.62.0 64GB DDR4 3200 XMP POSEIDON 1080i GTX NVIDIA Driver 512.77 WHQL 3TB SAMSUNG 970 EVO PLUS OMS Driver 18.37.0.1003 WHQL i219 V OROM 0.1.02 BA 0.1.16 12.19.1.37 WHQL AQC 107N FW 3.1.121 AQC 3.1.6.0 WHQL Realtek HD 6.0.9341.1 WHQL SAMSUNG ODYSSEY G9 49 NEO FW 1008 VESA HDR 2000 DP

My buddy from Intel said. They'd release 02000065 DATE 2019-09-09 for SK X/D/W same as 01000151 DATE 2019-09-09 for SK SP as second patch for performance issue on Intel TAA mitigation from 02000064 DATE 2019-07-31 for SK X/D/W same as 01000146 DATE 2019-07-31 for SK SP.
However I'd send them our R6E info code " HDD CODE A0 " to them after failed OS loader. Then they'd recommended me to use 02000064 instead.
My rigs work fine and running smooth with 02000064.Last edited by restsugavan; 11-19-2019 at 01:37 PM.

MC60 protect against MDS vulnerables same as ASUS 2002 Default MC5E. But they'd little bit better than MC5E.
But both MC5E and MC60 didn't protect against Intel TAA vulnerable. Only MC64 and MC65 protected.Last edited by restsugavan; 11-19-2019 at 01:43 PM.
