Look like 020006B06 fixing L3 cache behavior. On 02006B05 microcode DATE 2021-01-25 sometime on AIDA64 testing under Windows 10 21382.1.
I'd notice L3 cache bandwidth performance lower than 100GB/sec both write and copy. On read side L3 cache of 02006B05 sometime fell a half.

so 020006B06 is a performance release? looks like it...

With the latest bios (R6EE), the old microcodes no longer work, forced to use the latest (or an old bios)

There is an error at boot before POST, windows is not even loaded yet

I was working with Intel and Microsoft for testing every new build of Windows 10 2021 H2. So It was not good if you deleting its file.

Next build of Windows 10 will fully support VESA HDR 1400 as standard colour gamut on WDDM 3.0 .Please prepare your new screen for enjoy.

New feature about HDR adding every build for lastest build. You can doing with HDR colour space with your prefered Photo tools.

New 02006B06 microcode was optimized with these new build already.
So don't be worry too much on performance decline. Windows kernel itself working very well.

is for 10940x and all the other core i9 109x0x and xe Cascade Lake-X cpus in other words (also xeons)

you also see it in the CPU-Z main window

Running 3404 BIOS mod with latest microcode and oprom updates for a couple of weeks now on my APEX, no issues at all, rock stable. I can even run my 7920x 46xac via BCLK@101.5, Mesh @3249Mhz/1.259V, VCCSA@1.0V, VCCIO@1.168V, VTT@1.176V (HWinfo), RipjawsV 3600 4x8Gb @1.45v 4060-16-17-16 34T 320T 1T (Sams B-die) without L3 cache issues. Seem to be better performance with latest mc + Vroc performance gain.

I got warm boot problem(hp ex950 2tb m2 not detected in warm boot) at Dimm.2_2 slot. Samsung 1T 970 Evo plus is working fine at the same dimm.2_2 !
