    FX553VD Memory / Storage Upgrade?

    I have an asus FX553VD and it only has 236gb of memory, i am wondering if i can add an hdd to it. if i can let me know

    It depends if the existing storage is a 2.5" drive or M.2. I believe most of those systems came with a 2.5" 1TB HDD so you have something different. You can look in the device manager under disk drives and then Google the model number to tell you what is installed. If you only have an M.2 SSD then you can put a HDD in the empty 2.5" bay. If you have a 2.5" drive then you will have to replace it if you want to install a bigger HDD. You only have one normal drive bay and one M.2 slot.
