Rear USB 3.1 ports not working

Help please!

I can't seem to get my usb 3.1 gen 2 A (red one) and Type C to work. Power is coming out of them (I plug in a device and lights come on) .

Latest Bios and chip set are installed.

XHCI hand-off is disabled ( I also tried enabled but didn't work)

When I tried to update to the latest USB driver from Asus I got an error.

No reply's? Are my usb ports doomed?

Or am I just an idiot and it's a simple fix that should be obvious?

Any one?

I detect these on my CodeXI when i connect my BRIO WEB CAM..ODD The webcam driver install a ASMEDIA USB 3.0/3.1 eXtensible Host Controler. That disable 3 usb3.0 back usb2.0 Please Check BIOS and Chipset if that make a change.

I will work on a X399 today. I can check these also. But I will make a clean install in order to check if these is a issue or not. Be noted that I make a udate on theose Asmedia drivers direct on Device manager and deactivate those port complete.

THere is a app. called USB Device Tree Viewer https://www.uwe-sieber.de/usbtreeview_e.html#download

These will check what and is working or not. I find these myself 2 days ago.

I recently got this problem, I returned to 1601 bios in hope it would resolve the problem but no luck.
