I'm pretty sure it always detects the device impedance and will set according to that. Not sure there's a way around it.

Also, I'm not sure on this but....if you use HDA drivers is the GUI still realtek console, or maybe something else that "works" better? Not sure if you're on uad or hda. I have uad and the console. Pretty bare bones
