Nice info from our friends who share this.*

However his board was x299WS SAGE . How about our R6A and R6E ? Anyone had testing this before? **
I had planning for 256GB on my rig soon. Just waiting from DDR4 price drop on Q2 2019.*

Hi,
I am also trying to find the same answer to a very similar question.
Here is my thread https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthread.php?115733-Original-ROG-VI-E-(2017)-Cascade-Lake-X-256GB-DDR4
I will update if I find something else

Rampage VI Extreme Encore works with 256GB or RAM confirmed (with a Core i9 10980XE, BIOS 0505 modded with Microcode Update Revision F00h )

Supposed to work but I’ve not found anything requiring that much Ram. I’m running 64GB 8x8 Kit that’s perfect. 32 GB fell short for adobe premiere and maxed out or photo batch process. 64GB isn’t fully used but peaks to about 70% even with other things loaded. I can’t see 256 unless you are running a boat load of VMs.*
