Screen on thunderbolt gets disconnected after PC has been idle some hours

I have an Asus Strix GTX 970 with 4 screens connected
Thunderbolt = Asus PB278
DVI-I = Asus VG236
DVI-D = Asus VH226
HDMI = Samsung 46¨ TV

Every time the PC has been idle for some hours my pc can no longer detect the Asus PB278 on displayport. I have to disconnect and connect the displayport or restart the PC to get it working again.

PC is set to turn off displays after 15 minutes and never sleep. Power settings set to high performance, hibernate disabled.

Anyone have an idea what the problem can be?

I have now found out that it only happens if I turn off the screen with the power button on the screen (which i used to do before i go to bed). I have now stopped turning off that screen at night (only the other screens) and the problem has not occured.

I will still not say the problem is fixed, because i would prefer to turn off the screen at night
