GX501GI-XS74 - Clean Install - Drivers for "Numpad Trackpad"?

Hi Guys,

I reinstalled my GX501GI-XS74 from scratch and happy that I did it because it's running way smoother without most if the bloatware that it came with (no offense intendend).

Anyway I was struggling to find the drivers to make the "TrackPad Switch to Numpad"-Button work again.
Do you have a hint for me where to find it?

I checked on the ASUS Support homepage but I did not find any driver would help on that one.
I installed the ASUS Trackpad precision drivers but those were not it.

Cheers Kartoffl!

Did You Back Up The Esupport Folder

Hi,

Not sure if this will help, but if you don't have a copy of the eSupport folder and think it's worth trying, consider installing the ASUS Keyboard Hotkeys program under the 'utilities' section of the downloads to see if that makes any difference.

It will actually just link you to Microsoft Store for that download.

Thanks Albert.
Tried that one after your advice, but did not help 😞

Hi Kartoffl,

so you tried that one right?

If that did not work, my guess, you have to install aura core tool for keys color effects from ASUS bloatware package in order to enable the switch for the touch/num pad.

Download Aura Service and unzip the file, then run ""install.bat"" as administrator to install.

It says GM501GS in the link. Don't worry. It's the same for GX501GI. You will get this link by searching for GX501GI in ASUS drivers and utilities data base.

Thanks so much. That one actually did the trick.
I thought I downloaded all, but maybe missed that one.
