First, confirm what model G752VS you have by running dxdiag, see below:

Then run HWiFO64, see below:

1 = shows the stick of memory being read (Manufactuer P?N)
2 = type of memory
3 = timings of the memory
4 = toggle the 'V' to read other sticks of memory

Try to match the memory that came with your laptop, most likely faster memory will not run any faster than what is in there. Don't mix brands and types, for best results make all memory from one manufacturer and one type.

Good luck.

As far as I found, the i7 7700HQ is automatically overclocking and can overclock the RAM as well - is that correct?

Asuming it is right, does it make sense to use faster RAM like the HyperX 2666 MHz CL15 or even 2933MHz CL17? How far is the system able to overclock the RAM?

Thanks in advance.

i will try with 2666mhz and 3000mhz...
i detect in intel XTU, that the under "Advance Tuning" in "Memory" was the default setting on 1600mhz, with a 2133 Ram installed..so i click on "custom" .it change automatically to 2133mhz..like the Ram whats installed..just restart the notebook & it works with ? is this sh....t normal? : )

bzw. jdfrench why Asus when i can buy kingston wither better spec & CL ...; )
