One of the best (if not THE best) free Anti Virus available.

Your choices for free AVs should either be MSE or Avira. I chose MSE.

Highly recommended.

I haven't had any problems so far using MSE. It seems to work pretty good. FREE and WORKING is Always Good! The only thing I have wondered is if MSE is preventing the ASUS Live Update from successfully downloading updates or if that is just an actual problem with ASUS. Hope this helps. GOD Bless.

The Updater, if being blocked, would be blocked by your Firewall. You can check if the Updater is on Windows Firewall's Approved list.
