I'm not sure if this has something to do with the latest bios update on the z390-i mobo, but I've noticed sometimes when I turn on the PC, it'll get stuck at the Asus Rog screen. I just came back and after about two hours later, it was still at the same screen. How can I prevent this from stalling so much?

970 pro 1tb nvme usually boots fast, but I have no idea what's going on.

I turned off the PC and turned it back on. About the third time of turning it back on and off, the PC finally logged into Windows. I have it set where I don't need to type in the password btw.

Can you try with minimal I/O devices connected? Hanging on handoff can also be a sign of overclocking instability.

For some reason. It's not happening anymore. I've left it as is since then. If it happens again. I'll set everything to stock and see if that helps. Thanks for the tip though.

test. disconect all sata drivers minus the one with os. including external usb hd.
