Hi all, I wonder whether sometimes motherboards that have been tested and tortured would not find themselves on the client market with the effects of hidden defects.

t's a simple thought or rather a hunch.

With the speed and density you are running, higher increments rather than lower.

Increased the SAV to 1.05V today. Had another BD code.

Now I have EE code with memory detect error.

I tried to flash 0218 again, but it says that the file R6EO.CAP is not a valid bios file. Tried in EZFlash in the bios.

Increase SAV to 1.1V and VCCIO to 1.12V.

Getting frustrating for sure. Wish I could go back to 0218.

Again, the values need tuning. You may want to try up to 1.2v. Did you take any notes at all of the memory rules/subs on 0218?

4000MHz with 64GB will be tough, especially if the subs are tighter. You may wish to experiment with Eventual DRAM Voltage as suggested earlier, too.

The third way to update which I've done on Maximus XI Hero is through AI Suite 3 - EZ Update menu , bottom left, manual bios. In AI SUite 3 you just point to the CAP file and don't have to rename it and it goes. I'm not sure and haven't tried this on the Omega yet. Perhaps someone for ASUS can confirm?

Because of the doubt, I prefer to buy my equipment from dealers specialized in computer hardware because they offer their warranty in addition to that of Asus. And my rights are respected.

Just drop the speed back and call it a day, is days of wasting your time really worth 100Mhz which you wont even notice?
