Hmm... Both the PG279Q and the newer PG279QZ are exactly the same displays, in terms of performance and all.
The Z has been tweaked slightly, the only real difference is it's brightness and that's down to personal preference.
Personally I went with
three PG279Q and I'm really happy with my choice.
