Before I submit my RMA, I'd like to verify that swapping out my ROG Strix Z370-E motherboard will fix the problem, ie, that none of you are experiencing the same issue.

Both Acronis and AOMEI backups fail verification when USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports are used unless throttled to 480Mbps by the backup software. USB 3.1 Gen 2 and USB 2.0 ports verify fine. CPU is not overclocked. Used 3 different USB 3.0 drives. Used three different USB cables. Sata drives verify fine. Tried ten different 183GB backups and verifies changing USB ports with consistent results. Oddly enough sdcard images burned and verified just fine on the same USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports.

All recommendations from ASUS have been addressed including upgrading the bios, drivers, etc. They have issued me an RMA but I'm weary of having the same issue with the new motherboard. Hence, my question. Have any of you had verification problems using your backup software on USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports?
