I cant seem to get the ram stable on 4266 so this is what I did today ....
This sec I have it on XMP2 and on 4000MHz
Ram voltage is set to 1.45 v
Dram voltage is set to 1.3 v
CPU system Agent is set to 1.3 v
In DRam timing control its on Maximus tweek 2
ram timings set to 17,18,38 only gives 3 spots so I cant go 17,18,18,38
Dram command rate set to AUTO
This passed the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool so I will run memtest tonight as its a 7 hr or more test.Bios 602
passed 8hr test on Karhu RamTest
Set to Manual OC
Dram Frequency 4266MHz
Dram voltage 1.45v
CPU VCCIO Voltage 1.25v
CPU System Agent Voltage 1.29v
Dram timing control 17-18-18-38

I did see that when I got back on desktop but thanks just the same. Any idea if I should put it on 2T or keep it on Auto as this was the first time I got it stable at anything not default, sadly this is new to me :/ So please give advice if you can. Edit ...never have I had to do settings like this for ram so it fully has thrown me for a loop trying to get it going correct. I don't get why I cant pull off 4266 yet other then a setting is wrong still.

OK will do thanks :] For now should I just stay on 4000MHz and let the 4266MHz go for just now as I cant seem to get it stable with the settings I did today anyway as it was the first thing I tried for lol. EDIT...
This sec its all set at...
XMP2 and on 4000MHz
Ram voltage is set to 1.45 v
Dram voltage is set to 1.3 v
CPU system Agent is set to 1.3 v
In DRam timing control its on Maximus tweek 2

Dram command rate set to 2N
Edit if it passes memtest86 tonight then I will up the ram to the next one in the AM and see if it can pass the tests.Last edited by SK8; 03-17-2019 at 03:40 AM.

Use Karhu RamTest or HCI Memtest. Users should be pushing others away from stressing memory OC with Memtest86, as it's incapable of finding most instabilities on current platforms.

Ok will look at both thanks and my bad as you told me this in the past sorry :] Any idea how I can get the ram up to 4266 ? It passed all I tossed at it yesterday on 4000 and this AM set it to 4133 and it seems to be passing this as well so far in the windows scans. As soon as I get it back to desktop I will put on one of the two tests you suggested.
@Silent Scone I got this one as its not much $$ and seems like it will do more and more easy to work with.. https://www.karhusoftware.com/ramtest/
Testing it now ya way more easy to work with Thank You :] 21 min into test. Truth be told I was sick to death of the 8hr tests lolLast edited by SK8; 03-17-2019 at 04:57 PM.

Well this was interesting tried to up the ram one more level up could not get into windows hit F5 in bios set it all back to default still could not get into windows no difference what I tried even clear cmos still no joy. I had to do a system restore point to get back into windows . Made it back into windows so now going to test this ram in default with Karhu RamTest if it fails then at least I know to RMA the ram as it has no xmp/ oc on it just now. If the ram fails my heart will sink but I am lucky as we do have another kit of this ram in the house for my husbands build and he still has a few parts to get yet.
Edit ... If it passes the test with Karhu RamTest is anything wrong with the settings below at all ? I just do not get what I am doing wrong :/ Sadly I have not tested the ram yet with Karhu RamTest with the settings below yet so not sure it would pass either .
Edit 2 ... If the ram passes then I will run sfc /scannow to be sure windows has zero issues still as well as I am not a fan of system restore at the best of times. I do know my windows had no issues yesterday so I have no idea why it would not boot into windows after I reset bios to default today as I checked all my bios settings more then a few times when this started .
