Maximus XI Extreme need help with bios

Dang 13 min in test got error :/ Did a reboot and got a BSOD .... System Service Exception What failed NTFS.sys I turned off power on PC as its not letting me in bios now will try again in a min. I'm back in bios going to google the BSOD now. Edit I am going to try same settings but with 1.3v any time I use lower volts it seems to always end in a BSOD lol Man I hate win 10 lol made it to desk top running another test on ram .

Edit .. still early but but to keep you in the loop 20 min in the test no errors yet all I changed from your settings is I put it up to 1.3v

Ok back in bios again and hit F5 put it all back to default yet again lol. Not sure what I should try next other then trying this group of timings 18-19-19-38 Not sure if this can help to find what to do but I took two pics in bios from my phone maybe and off Chance this will help @ Phillyflyer @Silent Scone@ASUS

From what I have read earlier...you seemed to have got 4000mhz stable without issue...if that's the case..try 4133mhz rather than jump to 4266mhz...see if you get errors then....try the SA @ 1.28v and the IO @ 1.25v with 4133mhz and dram @ 1.45 v with 18-18-18-38-2N...baby steps required..lol...keep in mind...you are running a quad kit at a higher frequency with more strain on the IMC

@Phillyflyer I did get 4000MHz stable by steps below , so my question is do you want me to try 4133MHz under xmp2 or 1 like you have had me doing?


XMP2 and on 4000MHz
Ram voltage is set to 1.45 v
Dram voltage is set to 1.3 v
CPU system Agent is set to 1.3 v
In DRam timing control its on Maximus tweek 2
ram timings set to 17,18,38
Dram command rate set to 2N

Ug failed in under 5 min :/ 4:51seconds fail and same thing as last time I tried lower voltage not showing bios option on reboot had to turn off all power on pc for a few min then start up again and able to get into bios. Hit F5 for default and set everything back up in boot options / UEFI mode

I tried bios 805 on release...then reverted back to previous bios..
Dunno if you wanna try ....

I can not a fan of 805 as I do suspect it is helping to make the issue. So going to D/L 702 then. And yes I did rename it... M11E.CAP

I'd give it a try....the board is a fantastic board and have had no issues at all with it from day 1...I'm on bios 602 atm....please also remember that running high SA and IO voltages can also cause instability issues...lower may be better...all trial and error
