Maximus XI Extreme need help with bios

@Phillyflyer Maybe I should be trying 602 and not 702 then ? This sec its still flashing as I always do bios flash with power off since my ROG Rampage Extreme V mb . Put usb in back in bios flash hold down bios until it flashes 3x let go then when bios turns off in back boot up and let it do its thing. EDIT... The only thing I don't like on this MB is I lose my DP cable on bios updates and did on first boot up on new build , I have to use HDMI intil I get in boot section and set it up my Rampage Extreme V never did this but to be fair new gen mb . This bios flash taking long time mmm light is still on on back of case/ bios light so cant do nothing until it goes out./

Edit I mucked up on the bios flash back lol I am flashing it to 602 just so we are on the same page.

My other rig husband is on until his build is done I am so not a OC girl but was able to pull this off with a video I think from Linus tec tips or maybe it was JJ from Asus ....

Ok on Bios 602 I learned long ago old bios not always a bad thing lol. Unlike a new bios it can be bad went to 602 as it seems stable for you and would rather have stable then new.

Can you try running 2 sticks of ram vs 4 ??...In AI Overclock Tuner set the XMP to XMP 1...In Dram Timing Control set Dram timing to Mode 1...set Dram frequency to 4266mhz....the ram voltage should auto populate to 1.45v with timings 17-18-38-2N...IO and SA voltages should auto populate as well...may seem a bit high initially...but...can be adjusted down....

mmm so not a fan of AI Overclock Tuner anytime I have tried it on this MB or my other MB and even my hero MB very unstable and always a BSOD. So I tend to stay away from it fully as its never worked correct for me on 3 different ROG MBs yet :/ Ohh hang on your talking about in extream tweeker I was thinking of the crap at the top of bios lol my bad lol. I hate AI OC guide full on fail every time lol.

Whats the point in two sticks of ram vs all 4 ? I am not a fan of removing ram lol husbands job lol

Edit nope only ram voltage shows other two on auto :/

Wanna see if u encounter same issues with just 2 sticks vs 4....to take a step further...try 1...wanna see if the ram will post @ 4266mhz XMP

OK made it to windows in task manager for ram shows 4266 running ram test ...The reason I did not remove ram one arm has frozen shoulder so arm is not working correct btw frozen shoulder blows lol , This is why I need the husband to do it cant do it one handed I'm good but not that good lol.

No need to remove ram...looks like your able to boot 4266mhz..if I'm correct...download and run HWIFO64...Post screenie...wanna see your SA/IO voltages

mm I have cpuid HWMonitor up will this work... 28min in no errors and fingers so crossed praying to the PC gods lol
