Asus - is it really that hard to provide any type of update on the Matrix card?

You'd imagine, logically speaking, that they'd be all about updating a thread like this as it speaks to inquiries on their halo card. It's like launching a hyper car at Geneva and then forgetting about it after the event, it's mind blowing.

If you're reading this Asus, people willing to spend premium money for a GPU don't exactly appreciate being left in the dark and nor does it speak well to your customer relations knowing nothing about what's going on.

I have an invite to early purchase KPE in email from them right now. I am waiting to keep my build all ROG but I will not miss out on a top of the apex graphics card for this build. That means I won't wait forever for ASUS. All they have to do is say something. We have exactly nothing in the way of communication from ASUS unfortunately. If keeping us in the dark after a major CES event announcement is marketing they fail.
100% with you on that fam.....super annoyed with ROG and ASUS on this. If they would have come out and said "delayed until summer" or SOMETHING.... this whole silence for 3 months BS is just messed up.

I hope it's 3-5 weeks, I just can't fathom how uninterested Asus is in apprising their potential consumers of the launch. I mean, if it were a PSU, fine, but a halo GPU?

That'd be like Porsche hiding their GT3 RS launch, because reasons lol.

Halo products are a statement piece, it also sometimes comes with a certain level of limited availability. Think of DDR4-5066MHz GSKILL kits...

In regards to lead times, you really need to speak to support for your region or ask around your local retailers. It's hard to give a definitive answer given how the supply chain works. If you've been informed 3-5 weeks, it's likely close to this.

Thanks for adding to the thread. I did get this information from an elevated support ticket. I had a choice, do I accept an invite to purchase a different halo card or do I wait for ROG halo card. I did not want to put myself in a position where I missed out on both as you said about availability. If I wait for Matrix that means I missed out on the other opportunity.

Thanks again for adding to the thread.

My local retailers know "nothing" about the Matrix 2080Ti other than it's a card that was hyped by Asus at CES2019 and that's about it.

As evidenced by a fellow poster, the need to get an elevated support ticket to gather info on this card is just irritating and only serves to demonstrate the disconnect between the corresponding departments within Asus.

I appreciate your response and believe your sole intent was to assist us, but we have nothing 'solid' to go off of and the whole 'keep waiting' gets old when the competition already has their card available for purchase.

Again, I'm not here to troll - I just want to know when I'll be able to buy the final piece in my Asus RoG build. Thanks man!
