From the amount of no or very low expectation of getting stock lately. I just cancelled a pre-order because it said and I confirmed with them that January 8, 2020 is when they will get the first shipment.

I bring good news I think.

I just got a letter from the CEO's office stating this:

My apologies for the delay. Please see reply below from ASUS.
Due to VERY limited supply, we were holding off on releasing the MATRIX until we had some stock. We actually just released the MATRIX last week, and it is currently being stocked in at Newegg and Microcenter for USA. Customers will be able to find MATRIX on Newegg and Microcenter either next week or the week following that, depending on the stock in process. We have also made some posts on social a few days ago to bring the awareness back up:

Hope it's a sign of things to come the the US. I still don't know why they couldn't sprinkle cards in the US like they did throughout Europe.

I also pinged them on not selling XI Apex in the US.. no response on that one.

I am receiving the second one next week. The retailer received the delivery but the Matrix wasn't in the shipment. Apparently it's because the shipment left the factory before the card was ready. I'll keep you updated =) Mine really is a terrible clocker but maybe it's because of the extra heat it gets with the shunt mod.

The second one is here and it's a much better clocker. it seems it holds 2145MHz for 1.05V and peaks at 2160MHz

I expected much more from this cards. My Strix OC aircooled hits 2100mhx no prob and no voltage change.

Trying to figure out if this is rust, coolent, or thermal paste? None of the above?.....pissed AF to get this crap after 5 months of waiting. Click image for larger version.

Um, From a plumbers point of view.
Copper and green color is a bad sign. Usually moisture turns copper green.
    Hopefully its the paste though
