Will you please re-word this poll? Your commentary in your post does not match the poll, I'm not sure what the poll is intended to ask.

then i have to delate this post and make a new

I am both weird and non english, but it makes sense to me

Why i am (you) is choosing Ryzen: (new and existing Ryzen users)

is it because the amount of cores and threads compared to intel
is it because of the price tag (lower price / performance ratio compared to intel)
is it because i don't like that intel have milked the consumers on 4 core chips since sandy bridge 2011 (protest)

the post is about if you are going to buy Ryzen 3000 series when it will be launched, and if you (intel user) could consider to change from intel to AMD with this new generation of Ryzen chips (new and existing Ryzen users)

I hope everything makes sense now

thanks, but it was not really what i meant, i tried to target old and new Ryzen users

But if it makes more sense now, its OK

Well I already went with the 2000 series, so yes? At this point my chip has a lot of life left in it so maybe I'll wait a few years and get whatever is the best available for AM4.

    8 core Ryzen 3000?

The CPU SKU's have been listen recently again on a Asian website, with the same spec as the first leak

Only the future will tell l if the spec is right or wrong

If they all are unlocked or not would be fun to know, since some of the chips clocks higher than previous generation, and that would make overclocking of non X chips more attractive than before

There should be some motherboard bios limitations as well, 125w-135w TDP processor on current 3 or 4 phase motherboards wont work out

But who knows if the leaked spec is true

Maybe X570 motherboards will be needed for 10, 12 and 16 core processors

    Many if

True, my board might not be up to the task with a hungrier CPU. A new board isn't *that* expensive if I had to replace it, but if I can just swap in a new chip for cheaper I'll probably do that. Coming from Intel I've always had to replace both so it would be cool to keep a board just out of principle. Off the top of my head I can't think of any board level features that would necessitate an upgrade but I suppose AMD could surprise me with a killer feature.

Yes, and i hope the motherboard manufactures recognize AMD this time, and wont be cutting back on the motherboards
