How to test hci memtest with 32gb ram? how many instances and what size? and how long?

cpu 9900k


Cpu have 16 threads. So 16 instances of how much mb?

So i make 16 instances for 1800mb. Should fine? Anyway each instance i clicked start, so % in running will not the same,similalir just. So left like it is?

16 instances with 90% of available memory divided equally. You can use this tool found here. https://github.com/integralfx/MemTestHelper

You may want to use Ramtest which does not require any additional setup and covers memory faster than HCI.

Alternatively, you can either use Google Stress App test through BASH terminal or through Linux Mint directly. There's plenty of options out there for testing memory correctly.

I ask because want to be sure if my ram working correctly. 🙂 9900K is on 5GHZ ( 1.320V ) . Gskill 2x8GB 3000MHZ ( XMP )

That's 16GB

For 32GB 1800x16 would work

I testing rams...

I run REALBENCH with full amount memory 32GB RAM for 2 hours. It passed.But when i clicked run again just before test start ,said" Instability Detected". I check event log and it said something about memory pagefile etc.

So should i worry about that one fluke? It passed before 2 hours,but next click it crashed with this.

SOrry i was mean 2x16GB :)GSKILL 3000MHZ have.


So that with REALBENCH was because pagefile or something ?

I am on 83% on IHC and no errors.
