PG279Q bright pixel (RMA from New Zealand to Malaysia)

I used to live in New Zealand and recently moved back to Malaysia.

Can you please assist with this issue ?

I bought a PG279Q in June 2016, still with receipt. But I am getting a spot of bright pixel as per image attached. It is not a smudge.

Can you please advise if this matter can be escalated / RMA locally in Malaysia, instead of me shipping back the monitor to New Zealand ?

Hello valant,
LCD monitors have local warranty.
So if you want to be repaired with warranty service,
It's better to send it back to New Zealand.
There is ASUS service center in Malaysia as well.
You can find it in below link:

Please contact them directly if needed (time, price... and so on)
