IRST? Gaming Mouse Utility? To install or not install?

That is the question! (Hopefully you all got the Shakespeare reference)

But in all seriousness, IRST apparently is some storage software for RAID harddrives; is it actually useful or just crap that I won't really use? While we are on that topic, how can I tell my harddrives are RAID or not? Though then again, if it is available to me via the Asus Notebook PC eDriver thingy, then I probably have RAID. But yeah. :S

Also, the Gaming Mouse Utility - a must or a bust? I mean, right now, it works fine, has a driver installed, and I customized the main buttons, but the extra two buttons seem to be uncustomizable unless I install the utility. :S

If Asus GX800 - better install for access to all features

Okay, so I installed IRST through the eDriver software in Asus Tools. Then I open Intel SSD Toolbox, and it says that DIPM is not supported (whereas before, it was supported). How do I remove IRST? 😕 It doesn't even show up in Add/Remove Programs (or in CCleaner, for that matter).

EDIT: Nvm - used system restore.

Why did you want to remove it?

I'am install IRM and notice some bump of performance mostly with smaller size of files

The thing is, when I installed the driver, Intel SSD Toolbox said that DIPM became unsupported because of the driver, so I wanted to remove it. On top of that, I couldn't remove it in the conventional way because it was unlisted, even in CCleaner, so I just restored to earlier that day when I install the mouse utility thing.

And no - it wasn't even in All Programs, so I couldn't even activate it. 😕
